I’m the founder of Ascend HR, where I help businesses and nonprofits navigate the people side of work with clarity, confidence, and a little less stress. My Background
I’m a HR consultant with a background that blends practical HR experience and business education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, which allows me to approach HR decisions with both people and business impact in mind.
Before starting my consulting work, I spent several years supporting HR functions in local government and nonprofit organizations. These roles gave me hands-on experience managing benefits, payroll, leave administration, and employee relations—often in highly regulated environments where accuracy, consistency, and fairness matter.
